More people are becoming aware of Candida Albicans. I find myself increasingly talking about and working with clients with this parasitic yeast. I found out I had candida after having major surgery and the subsequent medication. When my Clients who have candida have the parasitic fungus explained to them they feel that they have some ray of hope after months or years of feeling ill and medical investigation, and can be proactive on their own quest for better health and wellbeing which has eluded them for a short or long period of time.
Candida Albicans is a member of the yeast family, the proliferation of parasite yeast that lives inside all of us (think fungus and moulds), yeast lives practically everywhere on the planet. Candida is usually resident in the digestive system, largely in the intestines. It also tends to occupy sites in the vaginal regions in females; in the testes and prostrate in males and on the skin.
Candida infection is increasing dramatically, the ideal outcome, is that the bacteria, virus or yeast is identified in the client. To neutralize and control the spread of candida the yeast needs to be deprived of its optimum nutritional environment, basically the yeast is starved. By removing many foods from the diet the fungus can be expelled from the body and the client can then-with care-reintroduce foods to the body.
The non-drug approach to the treatment of Candida infection, after dowsing to find where the fungus is sited, and the illnesses that are related to the Candida in the client is for the therapist to find. Alternative therapies will aid the dietary healing process. This may take the form of tissue salts, homoeopathy, Bach Flower Essences or herbal tinctures, organic cider vinegar and in some cases live yogurt or Aloe Vera.
The therapist and client work out when the time is right for the client to make changes to the diet by removing yeast and sugars (known as an active yeast) from the diet and the quantity and time duration of the related alternative remedies. (An additional allergy test may also be recommended before and after consultation to see if the allergies change or disappear)
Many conditions now are known to be the possible result of Candida’s activity: Conditions of the skin like acne, the digestive tract, the reproductive system, the urinary tract, eyes ears nose throat and chest, the muscles joints and nervous system; the mind as well as the body; poor circulation; body odour; irritability and hunger, vaginitis, thrush, endometriosis, headaches, constipation, allergies, poor memory, depression, abdominal pain, irritable bowel syndrome, athlete’s foot, Fatigue (linked to ME), eczema, infertility, painful joints-lack of co-ordination, cold hands and feet and many more!
